Dave's World Gravel started the way a lot of good Maine businesses do — with a young man, a piece of equipment, and a willingness to outwork the day. Dave St. Clair founded the company early in his life and has spent the last fifty years building it into one of the Midcoast's most trusted sources for aggregate. What began as a small, hands-on operation has grown into a full-scale outfit with three pits, a large fleet of trucks, and a reputation earned one load at a time. We're still local, still independent, and still doing things the way Dave started — with a handshake, a fair price, and material you can count on.

Our Pits & Fleet
We operate three pits across the Midcoast — one in Liberty, where it all started, plus Montville and Searsport. Spreading out this way keeps material close to wherever your project is happening, which means faster deliveries and fairer trucking costs. Our fleet is one of the largest in the region, sized to handle anything from a single yard for a backyard project to steady daily loads for a major build. Whatever the Midcoast needs moved, we've got the pit, the product, and the truck to get it there.
